Complaints

Here is a complaint letter I received from the California Fair Political Practices Commission:

There seemed to be two duplicate complaints, both about mailers sent by the Teachers Association campaign arm. As I said in the letter, “Although I am proud of the endorsement by the teachers union, I was not consulted or involved in the production of either and had no specific advance knowledge.”

I don’t know if the complaint is valid or will be upheld against me or the teachers association. I am frankly a bit intimidated by the campaign disclosure forms and requirements, and am trying to avoid having to file them, although I am disclosing all of my campaign activities and expenses here on my website.
