This website, though designed to be information from a school board member, if not official and does not speak for the district, the school board or other board members - only for me, my activities, election campaigns and personal outreach efforts.

Welcome to the personal website of retired teacher Craig Wilson, a trustee (school board member, area 4) of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, elected November 6, 2018 and sworn in Dec. 10, 2018.

(None of the opinions expressed here represent the board or school district. For the official school district board member website, click here. The district has policies for public communication by board members; view two of them them here and here.)

My priorities are threefold: 1.) Working to restore programs that were cut during the last economic downturn such as elementary bands, nurses and librarians; 2.) Examining and strengthening programs for all students, including those at the margins, so that we equitably serve all of our populations; and 3.) Work to increase public confidence in our schools, by reaching out to local groups, promoting open meetings and public discussion of the people’s business and building employee morale.

If you played a role in electing me (such a voting), thank you deeply for your vote of confidence. I will do my best to not disappoint you. During my term I will communicate developments as I see them.

And for everyone who lives in the Fairfield-Suisun area, I hope to represent you in a way that builds your confidence that our local public schools are an excellent place to send your children.

Craig Wilson
